Since 2006, the University of Arizona Library has provided the academic site license of ChemOffice (ChemDraw/Chem3D) for students and faculty.
Note: Uninstall previous versions of ChemOffice before installing newer versions to avoid license activation issues.

All UA students and faculty need to register and sign in with their campus email address at the PerkinElmer site.

Macintosh (ChemDraw Only) Operating System: Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate (32-bit) Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate (64-bit) Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Windows 10 (64-bit).including Creators Update. Mac OS X 10.12 (Sierra) Mac OS X 10.13 (High Sierra) Mac OS X 10.14 (Mojave) Microsoft Office (Standard, Professional, or Enterprise). The download version of ChemDraw Professional for Mac is 16.0.1.4. The package you are about to download is authentic and was not repacked or modified in any way by us. You are about to download a trial version of the application. It may sharply differ from the full version of the program due to the license type. ChemDraw and ChemOffice 16.0.1 provides a point release to address a number of usability concerns, primarily on Mac, identified subsequent to the 16.0 release. ChemOffice Pro, ChemDraw Pro, ChemDraw Prime and the ChemDraw Active-X control (CDAX) have been updated.

1. First-time members, please go to the PerkinElmer site, find/type 'University of Arizona' and register for the desired product with your name and campus email address. If unsure which product, choose 'Access PerkinElmer Cloud Applications'.
   Returning members can skip to Step 4. below.
2. After registration, download and install the software. Keep the browser site open for your activation code.
3. When the software prompts for activation, ignore the box asking for a serial number. Instead, find the box under “Activate by Email/Phone/Fax”:
   1. Go back to your browser, and click the “Order History” tab on the left navigation pane.
   2. Click on your Order Number link (at the top if the list if you are a returning member).
   3. Scroll down and find your activation code on the right side.
   4. Copy-and-paste the activation code.
   5. Note, this code will activate both WIN & MAC platforms.
4. In the future, if you need to activate/renew/update your personal ChemOffice+ license, log into the PerkinElmer membership link with your campus email address. Then follow Step 3.a - e. to find your activation code.
